Website building

A website that earns its keep.

Designed, built, tested and launched to a standard we can defend line by line — then handed over completely, in your name.

Start a projectSee what we have built

Tell us about the project.

Six quick answers, then a brainstorm you can take as far as you like. We reply with scope, a real number, and a date — or an honest no.

What kind of site?
What range are you working with?

A range, not a commitment. It tells us what is honestly possible.

When do you need it live?

The brainstorm

All optional. But the more you put here, the closer the first thing we show you lands to what you actually pictured — and the fewer rounds it takes to get there.

Three steps

How a build goes

We work out what it has to do

Who it is for, what it must make happen, and what would count as it working. Written down before anyone opens a design tool.

We design and build it in the open

You see real pages as they come together, not a slide deck of a website. Changes are cheapest while it is still moving.

We test, tune and hand it over

Accessibility, speed, browsers, forms, structured data, sitemap. Then the keys, in your name, with a walkthrough.

Straight answers

Website building, answered

What do I actually get at the end?

The site, the code, the accounts, and the ability to leave. Everything is handed over in your name. We do not rent you your own website or hold the keys to it.

Do you use a template?

No. We build the site your content needs. What we do reuse is our standards — accessibility, performance, and SEO get done the same disciplined way every time, because that part should not be reinvented per client.

Is it accessible?

WCAG 2.2 AA is our floor, not an upgrade. Keyboard navigation, real focus states, sensible contrast and proper semantics ship on every build. This site is built to the same standard — check it.

Will it be fast?

Yes, and deliberately so. Static output, no framework tax, fonts served from our own domain, images sized properly. Speed is a conversion feature before it is a technical one.

Do you do SEO?

The foundation, always: focused titles and descriptions, semantic markup, structured data, a real sitemap, clean URLs. Ongoing content and link work is a separate conversation, and we will tell you plainly whether you need it.

Can you work with my designer or my brand guide?

Yes. Hand us the guide and we will hold to it — down to the clear space around your mark. If something in it fails an accessibility check, we flag it and propose a fix rather than quietly breaking either one.

What is in every build

The parts nobody advertises.

Accessibility to AA

Keyboard paths, focus states, contrast, semantics. Tested, not assumed.

Speed as a feature

Static output where it fits, self-hosted fonts, images sized right.

SEO foundations

Titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap, clean URLs.

Forms that convert

Embedded on the page, buckets over typing, every click audited.

Real handover

Code, accounts and documentation in your name. You can leave.

Honest content

We will not fill your site with invented testimonials. Blanks stay blank.

You are looking at one

This website

Built by the same standards we are selling: static, self-hosted fonts, AA contrast, structured data, every form embedded on the page it belongs to.

If you want a sample of the work, you are reading it.

Priced per job

Scope sets the number, and you get it in writing before anything starts. No published rate card, because no two builds are the same size.

Client sites and testimonials

Client work is only shown with the client's written permission (rule 16), and no testimonials are cleared for publication yet. This block stays visibly empty until real, named ones exist.
